I was thinking that each individual economic decision (whether to by
or sell a good) could be characterized by the probability that it would serve
a need perfectly (length), and that it would find no competition/alternative
(direction, insofar as vectors with similar direction would add negatively).


In this way all economic decisions could be viewed as part of a
picture going forward in time (or outward as a circle), rather than as a
point underneath a static curve or surface.
