Good introductory text for undergraduate history of economic thought
classes. Overpriced (and only available in hardcover, I believe). Ch. 19
("The Revival of Critical Political Economy") is already a bit dated
especially in regard to the "transformation problem."

Inexpensive paperback. Very readable (although, not very exciting). Some
elementary algebra. Intended for undergraduate economic students. A good
buy, but other works should be supplemented for companions to reading
_Capital_.
