Re: Pabloite revisionism

Pablo was a liquidationist in that he wanted to, (and to an extent
succeeded) , abolish independent trotskyist parties by dissolving them in
stalinist or social democratic parties. Whatever the faults of Healy,
Cannon and Robertson (and don't forget the French party) they recognised
this policy as political suicide and refused to follow it.
Pablo's liquidationism was a logical consequence of his (wrong)
perception that the stalinists were becoming a revolutionary force. This
was his "heresy". It was "revisionism" in that it sought to revise one of
the central tenets of the FI, namely that stalinism had passed over
definitively to the camp of counter-revolution.
