Oh Ralph! Welcome back! How I've missed you!

Oh Ralph! Welcome to the Althusserian fold comrade! This was Althusser's
main thesis on Stalinism in 'The Transformation of Philosophy'. You've
left your theoretical humanist past behind you!

Huh? I think I could do a better job of strangling Stalinists if I were
alive. As a major opponent of the philosophy of the subject on this list,
by your criteria I'm just the man to do it.

Oh Ralph! You've bought into the infantile disorder of Bhaskarism!
Bhaskar attempts to use Althusser to give himself Marxist status, and
foolishly believes that Althusserian theory supports his critical realist
approach. The majority of anglo-Althusserians these days love Bhaskar and
want to be adopted by him as his children. If you are going to become an
Althusserian I implore you to do it properly.
