Of course the Nazis expolited the Jews, quite literally to death. The
question is, and this is what I think Justin is alluding to, is WHY THE
JEWS? The answer can only be racism. Hitler was an anti-Semite from the
start. We have to look at racism, and its connection to capitalism and the
specific features of the Nazi state and Nazi party dynamics, ideology, etc.
On racism, Lecourt and Balibar have written some interesting things on
this but I think I've put these references over the list before.

I highly recommend everyone on this list to take the time to read Jon
Beasley-Murray's piece on Deleuze and Guattari which is accessible through
the home page via Netscape. I read it last night, I'll post something on
it soon, Jon. A stimulating paper.
