We are currently involved in four (4) organizing drives in the Lansing
and mid-michigan area, all at varying stages of development. The potential
number of workers involved is a little over 800, and while the hopes
of success in each workplace vary as widely as their stages of development,
I think this at least indicates that a significant number of opportunties
present themselves, if we are willing to engage them.

What we are looking for is people outside of the mid-michigan area who are
willing to help us build a national organization. We are looking for
activists and organizers. Our current activity includes clerical-tech
workers, part-time faculty, student employees and petroleum distribution
workers. We are willing to help ANYBODY organize. Currently we have
one recognized union, of 185 workers, in place. We are seeking to build
a confederation of unions based on the principles of direct democracy
and rank and file control (syndicalism). If you would be interested in
