Exploitation presuposes not only the extraction of surplus value
(common to animals and humans) but also the expropriation of the
freedom to choose freedom and freely exchange the product of labor
(common only to humans, not animals).
Liberation presuposes a conscious effort to recuperate the "self"
alienated or exprorpriated rights/freedoms (oncly common to humans,
not all animals).
You have to be against all forms of cruelty as an expression of the
alienation, by the exploiting classes and their oppressed, of the
ethical "unnecessity" of cruelty (this includes unnecessary cruelty
against animals). But that's is as far I would go. Save the
Humans!
