Isn't it the old fashion way. If It would be of its own choice, the
US will get involved in wars once the opponents are sufficiently
bloodied as to spend little and win the credits. Of course, this
was not always possible and/or the US missread the internal
situation in a given country.

I think a lot has to do with it. But even if it wasn't there is
no valid reason not to opposse the US intervention (and NATO!)

On the basis of the principple that *any and all* imperialist
interventions will put double chains in the neck of occuppied
nations. That of their local, domestic rulers and that of the
invading imperialist armies.
That's what happened in Haiti, Yugoeslavia and elsewhere. Some
people felt compelled to support Croats (led by a right wing
regime) or Bosnia (Muslim's religious regime) or Serbia (a
right wing nationalist regime) over other sectors of Yugoeslavia.
They all looked for the *just* side in a war that have none (they
are all reactionaries regimes) and because they *do not have to
spill their blood* defending any of those reactionary regimes they
picked. They all forgot that you may support nobody in a war and
that you may advocate the overthrown of all of them as the only
just course in a war such as the one in Yugoeslavia.
I'm for either the withdrawal of US/NATO troops now or their
military oblitaration.
Comradely,
Carlos
