There's always alt.politics.socialism.trotsky.
But that drove me mad in the end.

Also, some people can't access USENET groups but do have email, so a list
has a wider coverage. I have limited access to USENET but unlimited access
to email.

Is marking a file as read on a USENET board more tiresome than deleting
unwanted messages ? There's not much difference. Perhaps people with small
amounts of disk space might have problems with huge amounts of mail.
