        I'd like to add a word of agreement with John Ernst about the USENET
newsgroup.  It would lack the personal aspect of the list, but right now that
seems possibly a good thing.  I sometimes think that if the bourgeoisie were
to read this list, they would realize that they need not beat us with clubs,
just hurt our feelings, and we go all to pieces.


        But seriously, although it could not take the place of the list, a
marxism news group would add something to USENET.  Right now, all I get
is alt.politics.radical-left (not very) and alt.fan.noam-chomsky, which
as has been discussed is a little fan mail-ish for serious discussion.
