"Old C.P." You say, but I must say, not old CP in the sense that the Party is
old, dead and gone. The Communist Movement is alive, well and growing! The
reports of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. However, if you mean old
in the sense of an over 75-year tradition of fighting for peace, justice,
democracy and socialism in the US and abroad, then we are old, but I prefer
to say "We are 75 years young." We are vibrant, and our leftist activity,
unlike that of some, is not confined to attacking other Left groups, but
enters into every phase of workingclass struggle. (By the way, why should any
socialist like kulaks, who exploited the Soviet peasant? and McCarthy did
conspire against the Party here and abroad, along with the rest of the U.S
government, my friend.)
