Walter Reuther
I just talked with a friend, a retired auto worker who has been an activist
since the 1930s (SWP--Cochranites) and he recommends highly Nelson
Lichtenstein's monumental biography of Reuther. A major review appeared in
this last week's NY Times. Since I have a very high regard for Nelson's
scholarship and left convictions, I suggest that those of you interested in
the labor movement look into it. I know I will!
