Gentlemen -- you are both wrong. The proper abbreviation, in English, is:

* LTGRPD

This is preferable for three significant reasons:

(1) what is it? -- "law of the tendency ...."  -- that expression has
    important meaning for how we interpret this process.

(2) what does it concern? -- the decline of the "*general* rate of
    profit" [emphasis added]. Also very important since it relates to the
    level of abstraction that Marx was dealing with in V3, Part 3

(3) what are the abbreviations for the name that Marx himself used? --
    LTGRPD.
