As long as we're getting geeky, I think it's MIME that makes it possible to
read 8-bit characters in a 7-bit world, and the lack of MIME that creates
all those =20s and things. But some postings I get from this list say they
were sent using MIME 1.0 and others don't. Why the inconsistency? Is it the
sender or the list that's responsible? Yo, techies!
