    AJACCIO, Corsica, Dec 12 (Reuter) - A small bomb wrecked an
office of France's Communist-led CGT trade union in the Corsican
town of Bastia on Monday night, causing extensive damage but no
casualties, police said on Tuesday.
    The CGT has been spearheading a 19-day-old public sector
strike across France.
    No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which
damaged windows, furniture and parked cars.
    ``This is revolting, disgusting. Hitting the unions is
striking at the people's democratic expression,'' said regional
CGT leader Jean Claude Graziani.
    He urged Corsicans to show their solidarity by demonstrating
massively on Tuesday against the government's tough plans to
reform the welfare system.
