The US is in Bosnia as much to 'plant the flag' of US military might in the
region as it is on any phoney peace keeping mission. The accord was reached
with 'gun to head' in Ohio for goodness sakes. Like Somalia it's just silly
to see a peace keeping motive when the US was a key player in arming the
region and disrupting and destablaizing the preciously existing situations.
Why the change in the Clinton administration on use of troops and force.
Mainly because of the victories and growing strength of the left in Eastern
Europe and Russia. This is also a message to imperialist rivals in Germany
and the EC - "We too have interests and a stake here."

Hogwash and bull tinkle! Exactly what 'borader' interests. What a flabby
classless notion of interests.

According to whom? What a wild assertion based on what information?
