Perils of Pauline
I am full of admiration for Carrol's tenacity.
I remember being told of "The Perils of Pauline", a series
of shorts in the great days of the cinema, in which week by
week, Pauline extracted herself from one predicament only
to face another obviously disastrous cliffhanger just
before the end of each installment.
Carrol's wonderful computer seems to cut his train of
argument just at the vital point. His posts will
obviously be the only ones read by absolutely every
subscriber from beginning to end.
It's magnificent.
Keep it up!
Chris,
London
