Foundations of Leninism

In view of the shocking outbreak of peace and good will,
yuletide is obviously fast approaching.

It occurs to me it is time to set a quizz of fiendish
difficulty for all persuasions of marxists including
Barkley, to keep people mentally occupied in idle
moments, when they might otherwise be kindling
flame wars to keep themselves warm.

Stalin's Lectures at Sverdlov University in the spring of 1924
soon after Lenin's death, obviously are his
claim in opposition to Trotsky, to be the rightful heir to
Lenin's mantle. They were published as a pamphlet
together with his reminiscences of Lenin, in May 1924.

A) Given that it was in Stalin's interests at that time to appear 110%
orthodox to all supporters of Lenin, which, are the very few passages
in the text at variance with Leninism, that foreshadow his own
style of marxism?

B) Given that Trotsky too would have been presenting himself as
the rightful inheritor of Lenin's mantle, which very *few* passages would
*at that time* have been obviously *un*acceptable to Trotsky?
(If anyone knows of a specific denunciation by Trotsky, that is
obviously too easy and cheating.)

C) Which *few* passages are at variance with Stalin's later practice?

D) How can anyone obtain a copy of this treacherously concise and
readable text?

E) How could all this be worked up as a useful doctoral thesis?

F) What possible relevance could all this have for practice?

Answers within a hundred lines, by midwinter's night.

London.
