At any rate, would someone
please relay information about the Goethe Institute (this is language
training institute, right?). How much does it cost? Is financial aid
available? Does anyone have an address?
Chris B:

I have checked my addresses and they are all European ones.
If no one else has contacted you privately, frankly I would say
the easiest contact is through the German Embassy in USA. (It is still
in the interests of the German Government that the Goethe Institute
remains relatively autonomous).
If this feels like a compromise then there is a passage from Lenin isn't
there about compromising about a pistol now, to have the opportunity to
use it later in other circumstances? I look forward to you working with
Hinrich in posting authoritative bibliographical lists in German.
Good luck.
PS it is also rather enjoyable!
