Good questions. So:

This aspect, although true, *seems* overblown by corporate media. In my
limited experience, I've found the proportions of militia and total US
populations who believe in Elders of Zion, Bilderberger, etc, crap to be
about the same. Not that it's a good thing, mind.

This is always a staple for paramilitary groups. Think about US
gangsters in the 1920s, fresh from the trenches, skilled in machineguns.
Think of Soviet Red Army vets from Afghanistan now employed by Russian
mafia. Then again, these guys tend to be underclass, right?

THIS is a serious angle. Has there been any work done? I'd add this to
Louis P's excellent list of research items.

This is not a general opinion, again based on my limited
experience (talking with some of these guys, reading a variety of
sources). They seem isolationist, more often.
