I wasn't going to say anything about this, but as an Italian, I can no longer
keep silent.  Radicchio originates from the Veneto region of Italy and more
specifically the areas around Treviso.  Now, it may be true that radichhio
has become yuppified in recent years, but I was raised on it and there's
nothing bourgeosie about it.
