If you could answer these questions, it would h*lp me focus in on some
issues around the work I'm preparing on "Marxism-Leninism".

1. For Scott:
Based on what I've stated to the list about contemporary domestic
politics, what are the political issues that still divide us? Are those
issues large enough to prevent me from being a member of the CPUSA?

2. For Paul:
You alluded favorably a while back to a Marxist-Leninist organization in
Peru whose work in the 70's impressed you very much. Could this possibly
be the "Shining Path"? If it isn't, could you please identify the group?
Also, if it isn't "Shining Path", what is your assessment of the
"Shinining Path" itself?
