Re: chaos
We are both using it in the technical sense.
An economic model of significant complexity has several
non-linear feedback relations, making it sensitive
to small variations in initial conditions.
Perhaps this is not enough for chaos in a strict
sense - I have not systematically tried to detect
mode doubling for example, such investigations are
very time consuming and it is not what one is
usually interested in.
