Rakesh, in your discussion of issues you tend to rely
heavily on secondary or tertiary sources Landauer, commenting
on Grossman etc. In looking at the issue of whether
accumulation rates accelerate how about trying two other
approaches.
a) use some simple calculus to express the rate of change
   of the rate of profit as a function of the rate of
   accumulation.
b) develop some historical time series of rates of accumulation
   as a percentage of profit for some major economies.
