Odd, this is exactly the sort of things I hear from old friends who have
remained in the SWP since the 60's. If I knew any Maoists, I'm
sure I'd hear the same thing.

So, the way I understand it, the CP is the vanguard of the future
socialist revolution. By implication, the millions who join it will have
to say the same sort of things about WWII and "single-issue" vs
"multi-issue", I would suppose.

This has very little to do with the living reality of the Bolshevik
party. I will explain this in a few days.

Relax, have patience. When you I post my judgments on Trotskyism and
"Marxisim-Leninism", smoke will start coming out of your ears. (As well
as any other true believer on the lis.t) So, save your polemical energies
for a few days. I know I get under people's skin terribly, but for the
time being I would rather defer discussion on this topic.
