The question of fragmentation and disintegration is a fundamental problem.

I notice very often that, even in this list, the solution to problems are
sought in seperating the problem out from the general context in which it
exists. For example it works very well when one is fixing a computer to
isolate each subsystem and check it. Find the one that is broken fix and
then put it all together again.

This does not work with more complex systems. A doctor is liable to kill the
patient this way.

When one looks at the discussions on Value, Use value, Exchange Value and
all the other threads I feel the attemps to solve the issue outside the
context of society is almost fruitless.

There is similarly no solution to Yugoslavia outside the context of the
whole international community. This is what makes it so frustrating for me
to even express an opinion. Who to support, who is justified who not?

It worries me because the phenominum of trying to solve the problems of the
people of Yugoslavia, of Barundi, Rwanda, India/Cashmir, Afganistan....by
division does not solve the problem but clearly exaserbates it. And is is an
increasing direction of solution seeking.

If one considers the left in the UK, USA, and elswhere, they are on the same
treadmill. Difference split.

There must be an end. There are sighns that things can change. South Africa
is an attempt still teatering on the verges of success.

Clearly the biggest division is between capital and labour. The problem is
that the solution was sought in seperation. Establish Socialism and then
Capital will be overcome. It did not work that way. How can it be made to
work? Do we need to think again. Is there something missing in marxism? Is
there something that must be added?

Sorry I ramble into unknown territory.
