Well, they never appeared in print again! But I have a copy of their
article somewhere, and a friend of mine is now in charge of the
University Department they worked for then; I'll see what he's got
to say about them.

But it must rank as one of the most extreme "prediction errors"
of all time.

As for your Lord, of course, we all pay our bills with M2, don't
we? -:)
