"Call for publication submissions (AHA)"

The International Contemporary History Association (Asociación de Historia Actual, AHA) publishes the electronic review Contemporary History On-Line (Historia Actual On-Line) (ISSN:1696-2060)
http://www.hapress.com/index.php?pg=f047&id=uk
E-mail: online@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Historia Actual On-Line welcomes contributions from readers and, in overall, from any researcher who is interested in the multidisciplinary study of the Contemporary History as a science. The editors accept pieces -articles, research notes or comments on books- related to any aspect of our time's History: analyses about the contemporary society; i.e. the
globalization phenomenon, the technology and information revolutions, or current geostrategical issues; and, of course, the methodology and theory on Contemporary History and Prospective.

Now, after four successful releases, we want to reenforce the number of English written articles in the review. This is the reason why we are calling for publication submissions from American, British, Canadian and Australian universities.

Every submitted piece is evaluated by two referees among a number of collaborators from the most prestigious universities; i.e. Immanuel Wallerstein (University of Yale), James Petras (Binghamton University), J. Donald Hughes (University of Denver), John R. McNeill (Georgetown University), Richard Grove (Australian National University), William Beinart (Oxford University) , Gerhard Botz (Universität Wien), Simon Dalby
(Carleton University) or Mark Stoll (Texas Tech University).

Every manuscript has to be sent by email to online@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx in StarOffice/OpenOffice or MSWord (PC or Mac) format. Image files, if necessary, are suggested to be attached in JPEG or PNG formats.

For more information about the review, visit

PS: Please, feel free to distribute this notice to everyone you think is interested in writting (or reading) about Contemporary History and, mostly, about the World we're living on.
