Decision may shake up state athletes' season

The Fraser High School varsity girls volleyball team warms up during practice. Soon it may play ball in the fall.
If the call stands, it's a whole new season for Michigan girls. In a court opinion that could change the face of high school sports, a U.S. district judge ruled that the Michigan High School Athletic Association discriminated against female high school athletes in scheduling its seasons.
