It depends on the nature of the work, Charles.  People who spend all their days
doing hard physical labor need good nutrition and plenty of rest to keep
going.  They have to do the labor in such a way that they are not crippled by
it.  And even then, after a while, their bones and muscles won't let them
continue with the hard labor anymore.  If you spend a reasonable amount of time
with physical laborers, you will learn this from them.  Strong as they are,
they regard physical work as debilitating, and do not understand why someone
like me would choose to walk a mile when I could take the bus.  As for
childbirth!  That is a big killer of women.  Nothing about childbirth
strengthens a woman's body.  Where have you been?
