    I think your comrade is giving an ultra-left rationalization for the
assaults on women, and in general exhibits pretty retrograde attitudes. This
incident, in its woman hatred, is just like the ones that occurred at
Woodstock '99, perpetrated, in that case by suburban, white youth. The
crimes committed, in both cases, of coarse occur in a overall social
context, marked by racial and class dynamics, but, any thought that the
Central Park assaults are less repugnant, due to the racial or ethnic
background of the criminals, is I would think, to give in to Racist
fantasies that men from those communities are more "instinctual" or
"irrational", have poor impulse control, are "animals".
  Methinks, y'all have taken marxism, in a Nietzschean direction. In
frustration over not being able to attack the ruling class directly, and
full of cynicism about morality and not treating people like means (what
bourgeois Kantianism!), your friend defends random assaults, on those who
happen to be mostly white. Turning the tables, is not justice. Time to
reread, Plekhanov on terrorism and how it differs from marxism.
