Carrol, no-one, even Katha Pollitt, can say the kinds of things which were
said, and which I don't plan to give more currency to by repeating, and
simply walk away. I'm a little surprised at your own silence, frankly. Jared
deserves better. It's not enough to compliment his website while igoring
attacks on his good name. It just is not good enough. Pollitt's conduct is
and was simply outrageous and completely intolerable, she made disgraceful
slurs, and what this means is that I won't tolerate it, ie, I'm not going to
passively sit by and accept that she has the right to say those kinds of
things. If that means you don't want me here, unsub me. I can live with
that. Or get her to acknowledge that she was wrong. Let her show she's big
enough to acknowledge an error, for chrissake.
