  Well, Margaret, I don't know about you, but if I knock off for a day,
the world would barely notice! and it's been quite a while since I had a
procreational need for sperm :).
But of course you are right, women can get along perfectly well without
men -- and yet they don't, in general, seem to want to. They seem to go
to great lengths and put up with an awful lot to have a man in their
lives. "Political lesbianism" never really had much traction.
