In this case, the first term is the relevant comparison, since we're
talking about bodies of thought, Marxism and feminism. I suspect that
most people I'd call neoclassical economists wouldn't object to the
term. There are left economists who use neoclassical techniques, but
that wouldn't make them "neoclassical economists." The people you are
saying aren't feminists or Marxists passionately think themselves one
or both, and most other people in society would probably accept their
self-identification. So how do you decide their self-identifications
are wrong?
