Re: de-tenuring of Mary Daly (fwd)

Did the male student genuinely want to take mary Daly's course? Well, we
can't psychoanlyze him. I took lots of courses i didn't 'really" want to
take --because they were requirements, because of parental pressure etc.
   If mary Daly hadn't excluded men (illegal) from her classes for 25
years, she could have excluded THIS student as insincere, obstreperous
etc.

   I can't believe that marxists Feminists are defending Daly ! After
all that bashing of "radical feminists" 'separatists" etc. I can't
believe her defenders on this list take her scholarship seriously
either.  It's exactly the sort of thing you rail against--essentialist,
sentimental, bad history etc.
