Everyone knows there's job discrimination against women who are
mothers,Andy -- I made this point myself just yesterday.  What is your
point?
   There's discrimination against childless women, too, though -- they
may win out (sometimes) over mothers in the competition for
female-designated (ie inferior) jobs, but  they still lose out to men,
because childless women are regarded with much suspicion in our culture:
they're childless (selfish, gay, weird,unnatural) and even worse,
they're women.
