Chile Beats Cuba 3-0 in Soccer Tune-up 

A team of Chilean soccer prospects defeated the Cuban national team 3-0 on Wednesday in the city of Osorno in southern Chile.

The Cubans arrived in two groups to Osorno after an 11 hour trip from Havana. The match took place only two hours after their arrival. 

The two teams will meet again on May 16. In between, the Cubans will play clubs from the Primera B division of Osorno and Temuco.

The Cubans are training for the Gold Cup to be played next month in the United States. Meanwhile, the Chileans are preparing for the Copa America scheduled for late June in Venezuela.

The Cuban soccer team debuts in the Gold Cup on June 8 against Mexico. Group C also includes Panama and Honduras.
