[Critical-Realism] Zizek: "I won't debate a realist"

We've been trying to get Slavoj Zizek to debate Bhaskar at the next CR
conference, but he says "I won't debate a realist". Meanwhile, this author
of 1001 irrealist books has written a beautiful little piece in the London
Review of Books (15 November) that tells us that "capitalism is
indestructible", "resistance is surrender", and while the protestors on the
recent great peace marches "saved their beautiful souls" they also "served
to legitimise" the war in Iraq. Fancy that. I could have sworn the war was
legitimised by those who think that capitalism's forever.

Still, what would you expect from a political philosopher who insists that
"the Act" that challenges the existing order can only ever repeat the very
act that founds all repressive sociopolitical orders, because we're all (he
thinks) prisoners of anthropic subjectivism and actualism?
