Thank you. This is just what I needed. 

What I now understand is that although thoughts may appear to cause particular actions, it may be more a case of intentions 
causing both the thought and the action. Further, the real reasons for our actions may be unconscious as well as conscious, 
and may differ from our rationalisations. However, all actions have a non-dual basis, which is necessarily intentional, but doesn't 
involve thought. Although all actions have an intention, not all intentions manifest in action. This may be because we lack the 
‘instruments’ necessary to fulfil the intention, including the appropriate disposition to act.
