I find what you write here incisive, very clearly written, and accessible to a reasonably broad educated readership. I agree also, that there is a great deal more subtlety in what you are saying, much more, in fact than some here are giving you credit. I might question the application of Newtonian principles; more precisely to see how you square these with 20th century physics, a topic of which I know zilch. In any event, I will be very interested in your extended discussion of what you lay out here, particularly "laws of causation" when it comes to human social and psychological behavior:
The essay thus is fundamentally concerned with establishing the
necessity for an ontological distinction between laws of
causation and associated patterns of events in American history,
thereby clarifying the generative mechanisms and structures
involved in the historical development of American society.
