BHA: Laws and social conventions
Citizens, tobin, ruth, gary and all
In the name of academic faith, I salute for afar.
There is a seemingly, visible misrepresentation of the life world and system world. While the system world is said to be solely governed by laws , the life world is governed by social conventions .
Critical realists, should start asking how to linguist/ify our mystified social world which disappeared 400 yr., ago.
Life/system world has a stark difference and miles away from each other, which ranges from spontaneity (will / crowned as peace within) to ration irrationalism (fear, re/depression). Institution to social order.
Social institutions and social agents alike are self-regulating thus societies have self-referential automata through the social agent. There are no supernatural realms.
I tend to think moral regulation in industrial world/ societies is totally out of set. Structural sin starts here. Social problems in industrial societies emerge through dispensing of institutional laws, in total disregard of the dialectical nature of being and social beings.
The system world will assert moral order through repression- or what is termed as bureaucracies or ordered institutional behaviour- instrumental/mechanistic ordering through panoptic methods culminating in a prisoners dilemma.
Discursive ability has to be then sequentialised too, as in symbolic logic thus must be validated to represent (hard facts)! wow.
Language and symbolic interpretation will certainly follow the same pattern. Notice too, that the growth of psychiatry in developed nations has gained currency through claims of interpreting a mystified life world.
No interpreting hard facts. Doug?
Social agents adapted to industrial social ordering will contextually misunderstand TD by simply misrepresent it.
In fact Marx as well as Weber realised this fact very long time ago, i think was 1700's that bureaucracies harness the social agent, to an ever-moving mechanism that inflicts its own pace and logic on their actions.
Industrial societies are condemned to this destructive future. Matters of facts, which will never transcend the level of transitivity (TD) or are in this regard discard as none facts if not, then interpreted as logical facts.
Now, what is meant by value?
Eureka!
