BHA: causal criterion of existence
Hi Tobin,
You wrote, in a response to Howard: "Remember that CR/DCR works with causal
criteria for existence: something is real if and only if it is causal."
Are you sure that that "if and ONLY if" is accurate? If so, do you think
that you could you give me a page citation for it? I've never really
thought about it before, but I don't think I would have assumed that
EVERYTHING that exists is a powerful particular. Is that right, do you
think? That all of the things that exist are powerful particulars?
(And, re: the negativity thread, are all of the things that DON'T exist
powerful particulars too? Or do de-onts have a different "existence"
criterion than onts? If so, what is it? How do you even enumerate all of
the things that don't exist?!)
Hmmmm.
Back to bed w/tissues and tea,
r.
