I think the last thing the list should do is to develop intolerance.  Jan
is of course entitled to his opinion. I will however point out here that
the tone of his post begs for a riposte but I will let it pass in the
interest of harmony.  There should be IMHO no restrictions on what we
debate, read or talk about.

Ruth has raised the topic of what next and there have been lots of
replies.  But seemingly no one wants to get into the water.

In any case I now have details for Archer's book and I will pursue
those.  I intend to start posting on it as soon as I can.  Realistically
that would be around March-April.
