BHA: RE: our options -- Lurker weighs in...
May I also request/implore/encourage the list to devote some
serious time and energy to elucidating/elaborating/explicating
the means and ends to which CR may/should/should not be employed
in an applied program of social science research.

I second Phil's sentiments. In fact, once I got past the rush of semester
start-up, I was going to propose to this list a project of compiling an
edited book of case studies of empirical CR social science research.
