Maybe my posts aren't been read, but only commented on, but since I clearly
said
Beliefs in Santa are real - which I am sure Louis accepts - but Santa (as
far as we can tell does not). A classic example of the transitive
intransitive/distinction I would have thought. I also said beliefs possess
causal power.
I fail to see how Tobin can claim that I am slipping past the difference
between a concept and its referent. In fact, my post highlighted the
distinction between concepts and their referent, rather than slipping past it.
Exasperated in Aber....
