A little more grist for the Santa mill, and recalling a point made in
various other contexts: I think Louis and Colin are slipping past the
difference between a concept and its referent. The concept Santa is real,
but it lacks a real referent. That lack does not make the concept
unreal; fictional, perhaps, but it still possesses causal powers.
(And has anyone seen my imaginary dog Concept?)
