[AUT] re: Interventionist Left (IL) G8 Call to Action

blockading in the lead up weeks so that the summit site cant function ... long term blockading the summit - as supplies, security, cops and army try and get in... blocking the g8 meetings food deliveries... tactics - supply chains weakeness of summits - workers and the services required to make a summit happen.

here are some links to resources and discussions on tactics and soli in the wake of the repression of g20 protests in melbourne. learn, adapt...

no food and water delivered or server, no construction, no media accomodation, no power = no summit.

why not attack the fence now. could push the costs too high.

weeks if not longer before the supply chains that allow the summit to take place will be in action. these rely on workers. why not talk to them or cause the supply problems otherhow.

the precarian thinktanks can be mobilised to work out weak points..

are precariat activists mobilising with/simultaneously etc with anti-g8. an interesting dialogue

" 300 protestors switched county and turned up on the door step of managing director Brian Cass's house! Mobile demos, both in the City of London and around the country continue to be highly successful, and the main focus of anger has now been redirected towards HLS's insurers Marsh UK. There have been large numbers of run-ins, lock-ons and just general picketing of offices. And SHAC has truly gone global, with demos in numerous European countries and as far away as South America and New Zealand. "

targetting the councils of the area, local security, companies providing staff, suppliers

in addition to talking and organising with workers along the supply chains that are making the summit and organising transport this might help make winning strategies
