[AUT] re: edu-factory

hi all,

i just want to clarify some things about edu-factory
(a message i forwarded last week).
i'm not involved in its set up --i saw the
announcement elsewhere and thought the list might be
interested.

i do believe their use of 06 rather than 07 is a typo.

i've also had questions emailed to me about
difficulties in signing up for the list. i had the
same problems until today. when i tried to sign up
with an email management software program (e.g.
Eudora) I was not able to register, but today I tried
with a web-based program and it worked.

sorry to clutter everyone's box with this, but
thought it best to send it out to the whole list in
case more people had trouble registering.
