The reason it is so difficult to get information about the
situation in the Ukraine is that the "refomers" are in the
Western Ukraine they represent the push to privatize, link
to NATO and the EU, the marketization of the Ukraine is
their main aim.
The Kuchmanite faction is in Eastern Ukraine the largest
area of industrialization and Russification. They represent
the old party hacks and have ties to Putin.
Its a plague on both their houses as far as I am concerned.
The real issues of market reforms are being covered up with
the pretext of democracy now shouts from the Yuvchinkos
Orange block.
Though it was nice to see in the main square in Keiv the
black and red flag of anarchy on the news and in pictures
from the rally published in the paper.
The other reason you have so much trouble getting news is
that in Canada the Ukrainian Nationalist/Fascists of KYK
(pronounced appropriately KOOK) and their Church Fathers
all approve of the Orange Opposition. Nothing new here,
these are the same nationalists that for years supported
the World anti bolshevik league.
