And once again, Tahir is displaying his arrogant
aggression towards anything which exceeds his
categories or questions his implicit assumptions.
Faced even with simple analytical problems with his
claims, he resorts simply to personal insults and
politico-philosophical swearing ("pomo", "moralist"
etc.).  And yes, I know he despises me because I stand
for everything he hates (people who disagree with him,
people who are smarter than he is, people who question
what he takes for granted, people who refuse to bow at
the alter of the Masses, etc etc).

Please remember, folks, that this time around, Tahir
threw himself into the fray against me of his own
accord, apparently thinking he could substitute
himself for Chris Wright (with whom, in contrast, I
feel I sometimes have useful exchanges).  He then
complains that I'm trying to continue the discussion,
despite the fact that he hates me.

Well, I don't post replies to Tahir to be liked by
him, because I know he's having a negative
transference onto me because of my opposition to his
own repressive categories.  He has never seriously
attempted a dialogue, but nevertheless I think it's
important to show everyone else that his bullshit is
easily debunked and his pseudo-expertise is simply
ideology.  I would like to say this also confirms my
critique of Hegel, but obviously it doesn't cos Tahir
has no understanding of Hegel, hence the fact that he
argues the absolute opposite of Chris Wright on the
question of whether commodity fetishism is a
psycho-linguistic phenomenon according to Hegelian
Marxism.

And are we really silly enough on this list to take
seriously the idea that any investigation of social
issues can be unproblematically classified as a
"science" and thereby put above critical scrutiny?
Keep sucking BF Skinner's long-dead rotten cock Tahir,
if it tastes so nice to you.

So two fingers to you, Tahir, until you deign to give
a half-decent reply or until you annoy me again, and
to everyone else - make your own minds up who has
produced substantive arguments and who has simply
ranted inanely.
